Background

JoEllen joins Algorithm as a Senior Project Manager. She has been in the ERP space for over 27 years and has real world experiences in roles such as Controller and Director of Operations. All this experience combined has developed into in-depth understanding of Accounting, Distribution and Manufacturing. Additionally, while working in those roles she always gravitated to the role of Project Management, quickly gaining those skills needed, knowing how critical it is to make ERP implementations successful.

I connect with people quickly and practice listening intently to what they have to say about their business and processes. Early on in their projects I can usually identify areas that will be opportunities for improvement and/or challenges for them which is useful managing the expectations and the risks of the project.

I always strive to manage a project in a way where the customer has a great experience with their implementation. There are too many negative stories out there about past project experiences, and I make it my personal goal to turn that around!

I love doing yoga, so much so, that I teach it once a week. When I’m not doing that, I’m either on the lake or dreaming about being on the lake and I’m quite sure the song “Pontoon” was written just for me! Someday, I'll even do the cold plunge in the lake!
